Who We Are
National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO) through the Household Uplifting Programme provides support for poor and vulnerable citizens through targeted cash transfers, capacity building, coaching and mentoring and livelihood support.
The Household Uplifting Programme (HUP) otherwise known as the Conditional Cash Transfer aims at responding to deficiencies in capacity and lack of investment in human capital of poor and vulnerable households.
The Programme focuses on the poor and vulnerable households in Nigeria as identified through a combination of geographic and community-based targeting mechanisms.

What we do
NCTO through the Household Uplifting Programme provides support for poor and vulnerable citizens through targeted cash transfers, capacity building, and coaching and mentoring and livelihood support.
Household Enrollment
The Process of Enrolment into HUP-CCT include Community mobilization and stakeholder sensitization, Beneficiary orientation, Data capture
Cash Transfer Payments
One of the major activities of the programme is to facilitate the transfer of N5, 000 per month to beneficiaries, which is paid on bi-monthly bases
Capacity Building
Capacity is built at all tiers to enhance empowerment of beneficiaries’ household to be self-reliant.
Livelihood support
The livelihood activities facilitate graduation of beneficiaries out of poverty making them financially independent.
